Q: Do I have to install any software on my machine to use Varidyn?
A: No, all of the Varidyn tools are Internet based. You simply provide us with at least a minimum set of listing information, and we put Varible Dynamic magic to work for you! There is no software installation required.
Q: Is any special software required by the user to view my real estate virtual tours?
A: No. Varidyn Virtual Tours are built on open source and javascript. They run on without fail on nearly every browser, require no Flash plugin, no ActiveX installation, or other proprietary plugin that requires the user to go to another site and install something else before being able to see your virtual home tours..
Q: How many photos are required to create Varidyn Virtual Tours for real estate?
A: Varidyn Virtual Tours for real estate can be created with as few as 6 photos, and options are available for up to 20. Default tours output 6, but linking codes are available in your admin to use the others anywhere you desire.
Q: How many real estate tours can I create with my user account?
A: Our current offering is for unlimited useage with payment options that are subscription based, semi annual or annual. There are no per tour fees or other upselling. In fact the only other optional fee even available is for an additional service where we post your listings for you.
Q: What areas does Varidyn real estate marketing serve?
A: Currently the Varidyn real estate tools support all of the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Sorry Canada, this is coming soon.
Q: Can custom branding solutions be developed for Varidyn real estate tools?
A: Yes, custom branded solutions as well as custom portals and exclusive markets for resellers are available. Contact us for further information on these solutions at 1-877-Varidyn for details or to discuss the relationship you desire.
Q: Can Varidyn gather my listing information from my MLS?
A: Currently Varidyn does not support this method of gathering data, but we are working on the capacity to receive XML feeds. This 'should be' launched later in this year or early 2010 after we have defined a feed specification and have tested it fully.
Q: How does Varidyn support customers?
A: Varidyn real estate support is currently offered via live help online during regular business hours, by toll free phone service during
regular business hours, via support email that is monitored 24/7, and via an online support forum available through login that even includes a suggestion area. We are trying hard to develop the best support services available to earn your trust and to retain customer loyalty.
Q: Where are my listings posted?
A: As soon as you upload your listings they are automatically distributed to dozens of the web’s top real estate sites. Sites like oodle.com, Google, Vast and more. As well as being distributed on our exclusive Explore and Homeowner Services networks. Do note that some of these third party sites do not update in real time, so it may take a few days to see yout listings on third parties. Varidyn obviously cannot warrant third party update schedules.
Q: How do I create my Virtual Tours?
A: Easy… just upload your listings and they are created for you. You will find the links to them available in your codes page.
Q: How do I get my custom web flyers on Craigslist.com?
A: When you upload your listings a custom internet flyer is created. Varidyn provides you with the HTML code for each of these flyers. To upload these flyers to Craigslist all you need to do is copy and paste this code into the window provided by Craigslist. Want us to do it for you? Q: How do I get my new Virtual Tour on the MLS?
A: Every MLS is different. Most Multiple Listing Services require that virtual tours not have specific company branding or contact information. This is to make sure that listings that are provided to different sites through online feeds are compliant with Broker Reciprocity. Varidyn will supply you with a link code for your non-branded virtual tour, you should contact your local Multiple Listing Service to find out where to place this in your local MLS.
Q: Will each of my listing websites have their own URL?
A: Yes. Each listing website has its own unique URL. A URL for your listing will look like this. www.Varidyn.com/homesite.asp?ID="Your-Listing-ID-Number"
Q: I like my new agent website through Varidyn, can I get a customized domain name?
A: Yes. You can purchase domain names through any of dozens of providers online. You can then redirect your new domain name to your new Varidyn Agent Website through domain forwarding wich is available through about any domain registrar. Contact us if you need help. Varidyn does not endorse, but has used GoDaddy with great success in the past.
Q: Do I have to have a contract?
A: No. With a subscription membership to Varidyn you can cancel at any time.
Q: What’s a cycle?
A: If you choose to subscribe you will be billed every 28 days. This 28 day period is called a cycle. (subscribe now)
